Respite care

Respite care offers short-term support in a safe, caring environment when it’s needed most. This may be planned in advance or arranged at short notice, for example following a hospital stay, during recovery, or to give a regular carer a break.

At Littleinch, respite care is delivered with the same standards, attention, and professionalism as our long-term care. We focus on dignity, safety, and continuity, taking time to understand each person’s needs so that care feels calm, respectful, and well supported.

Respite care may be suitable for:

  • Recovery after illness or hospital discharge

  • Short breaks for family carers

  • Temporary support during a change in circumstances

  • Assessment of longer-term care needs, where appropriate

We offer respite care at our homes in Rashielee (Erskine) and Inchinnan, subject to assessment and availability.

Respite stays are accommodated within our existing rooms and availability can vary throughout the year depending on overall occupancy and care needs at the time.

All respite enquiries are reviewed carefully by our management and clinical teams to ensure we can meet care needs safely, both for the individual and for other residents. Completing the enquiry form below helps us understand requirements early and respond appropriately, even if a room is not immediately available.

Submitting an enquiry does not commit you to a booking and does not guarantee availability. It simply allows us to start the conversation and guide you through the next steps.
